The Eco-Positive Housing Development is one of its kind, targeting the establishment of a completely solar-powered community. Situated within a suburban area, this estate presents an efficient solar PV technology with an advanced battery storage system to ensure that the energy supply is not only renewable year-round but also fully dependable. It's solar paneling on each and every residential unit, community space, and utility building, all merged together into a resilient energy network. Some of the major goals of the project include reducing the carbon footprint of the community and contributing to environment-friendly life among its residents. This project generates 90,000 MWh of energy annually and is an exemplary prototype for sustainable urban living.
The highlight of our work throughout this project was selecting materials and technologies of high standard to ensure longevity and efficiency. We made sure to source the optimal solutions from renowned solar panel manufacturers and energy storage experts. The collaboration between our team and the Sustainable Living Group has been crucial in pushing boundaries to what's possible in sustainable housing developments. Naenitio successfully completed the test to attain the certification.
The Eco Positive Housing Development was completed in July 2023, when all the solar PV panels and battery storage systems were commissioned. So, targets related to energy generation were beaten, as well as the one on carbon savings for this project. Throughout its development, the project received significant media and environmental attention.
